Lobster Mac n’ Cheese

Recipe Ingredients

  1. 1 lb orrecchiette pasta, cooked, rinsed, drained

  2. 1 teaspoon Anchor™ butter

  3. 1 teaspoon minced shallot

  4. 1/3 cup white wine

  5. 1 quart heavy cream

  6. 1 quart Mainland™ Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  7. 1 cup lobster meat

  8. 1 teaspoon salt

  9. 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  10. 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

  11. 1/4 cup melted butter


  1. In a 3 quart sauce pan, sauté shallots in butter for 1 minute; add white wine.


  2. Cook for 1 minute until wine is reduced. Add cream; bring to a simmer.

  3. Add shredded Mainland Sharp Cheddar Cheese in batches, stirring until melted.

  4. Add lobster meat, salt, black pepper and cooked pasta. Stir to combine.


  5. In a small bowl, combine panko bread crumbs and melted butter.


  6. To serve, place mac ‘n cheese in an ovenproof bowl; top with panko bread crumbs.

  7. Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes or until crumb topping is lightly browned.
